Our Story: How we started! - The founder version

When it is a story it usually is the familiar how it all started. But...

This is exactly how chachacha.melbourne started. Call it curiosity, call it boredom, there were so much time and no where to go during the lockdowns in Melbourne, Australia. There I was looking at interesting things to do to occupy my time and wanting to explore something that I am passionate about; food and/or beverage, considering they are interconnected. You need to eat and drink and if done well, they pair with each other. Back to October 2021; end of the the 6th lockdown one of those day where I have the chance to acquire my first scoby to start brewing my own elixir. It was history from that day on. I became a kombucha brewer for personal consumption.

Fast forward to February 2023, chachacha.melbourne is officially registered as a business with the thought of bringing what kept me partially sane (the insane part was trialing and testing with flavours) to Melbournian. The place where I have called home since I arrive in 2019 and living through the lockdowns. In every cloud there is a silver lining. My silver lining is being the proud founder and henchman to my baby; chachacha.melbourne. It started with a 3 litre brew and as the days go by and friends liking my iteration of kombucha, 8 litres were brewed and now it have moved to double digit and the launch of chachacha.melbourne brews kombucha in 3 digits in quantity.

This is definitely a journey that started personal that become a general journey to walk with everyone that I have encountered during my time from my humble start at home to where I am today.
